Republican Democrat Conservative Liberal test

I took this test about 2 years ago and here are the results I posted at that time:

2006 Political Test Results

Since then, 2 years later (2008), I have changed my mind mostly about one thing: Religion. I used to claim to be a Southern Baptist Christian until I actually read the Christian bible closely and slowly, studied other religions, and gave it some serious rational thought. Now I am non-religious and even view religion as organized crime.

I took the test again today and here are my new results:

You are a

Social Liberal
(83% permissive)

and an...

Economic Liberal
(38% permissive)

You are best described as a:

Strong Democrat

I went from a Republican Conservative to a Liberal Democrat. Which just proves that Republican Conservatives are non-thinking delusional idiots who haven't really thought things through, believe anything, and do whatever someone tells them to do.

Comments

I know several who have recently gone from being Liberal Democrats to Republican Conservatives. I guess in your socially permissive mind you think they are delusional idiots who believe anything and do whatever someone tells them to do.

Socially permissive seems to be completely lost on you. I don't think any less of you being a liberal. But hey, thats just me being a Republican.

The "2 Party" system is only an illusion of democracy, to openly declare affiliation with either party is sheep mentality. Maybe it's a need to be a part of something. I would imagine religion plays a role in this way of thinking, herd mentality. Think for yourself, get your news from overseas and stop watching American main stream media.

George Carlin's take on religion says it best:

Thanks frye, you hit the nail on the head. The test shows me as Democrat because that's what it does, but personally I would consider myself nonpartisan. The US is a 2 party system whether we admit it or not, and all thanks to the media, the public, and ratings. Out of sight, out of mind. It takes real intelligent thinkers to vote for someone like Ron Paul for example. Only an idiot who shouldn't be voting in the first place doesn't know how he stood on the issues, or any of the other third party candidates for that matter. I'm sure the average lazy non-thinking citizen simply sticks to his usual party without even reading about any others and then only pays attention to the negative of the "other" party. More than half of voters know about Ross Perot but less than a tenth can tell you what party he was in. Ron Paul, who is that? If you don't know, why did you vote?
